In this case, we used the SCW (Seaside Cloudworks) plan that we had been working on with ChatGPT and created the materials in about 10 minutes.

- Drafting and Structuring: You can prompt ChatGPT with your proposal’s theme and overview to generate initial drafts, presentation outlines, and structural elements.•
- Detailed Research and Reporting: For more in-depth information, leverage ChatGPT’s Deep Research capabilities (or Gemini Deep Research) to efficiently gather necessary data and compile it into a comprehensive report. This significantly cuts down research and summarization time. The output from deep research tools like Perplexity or Gemini Deep Research can be directly used as source text for Gamma.
- Voice Input for Idea Generation: ChatGPT’s voice input feature allows you to verbalize your ideas and insights, which are then transcribed into text, creating a highly efficient workflow. This transcribed text can be directly pasted into Gamma for slide creation.
- Quality of Source Text: While Gamma has its own text generation features, it’s recommended to generate the core content using ChatGPT (or other advanced AI text generation tools) and then paste it into Gamma, as Gamma’s internal text generation accuracy for long-form content might have hallucinations. The focus should be on Gamma’s strong presentation creation capabilities from existing text.

Once your content is prepared in ChatGPT, you can transform it into a presentation using Gamma’s “Paste text” feature.

- 3.Design and Layout Selection: From the generated outline, you can select a presentation theme. Gamma offers over 30 diverse templates, allowing you to change the entire design with a single click. You can also create custom themes incorporating your brand colors, logo, and fonts (available for Pro plan users).
- 4.AI Images and Visuals: The AI automatically generates and places relevant images and icons based on the text content. If you’re not satisfied with the images, you can regenerate them, search free stock photo sites like Unsplash, or upload your own custom images. You also have the option to generate the presentation without images or with image placeholders to fill later.
- 5.Content Editing and Refinement: After generation, you can edit and refine individual slides using Gamma’s AI by clicking the “sparkle icon”. - Diverse Export Formats: Finished presentations can be exported as PDF, PowerPoint (.pptx), PNG images, or Google Slides. Notably, PowerPoint exports maintain formatting well. PNG export is convenient for social media.
- Analytics: If shared, you can track daily views and viewing time distribution per card (slide), providing insights into audience engagement.
