Temporary chats, in particular, are only available for that moment, making them quite useful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1.Turn off conversation history<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ChatGPT has a setting called \u201cConversation History and Training.\u201d Turning this off prevents conversation content from being saved to your account history and prevents it from being used to improve the model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>How to Set Up<\/strong>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the \u2699\ufe0f \u201cSettings\u201d icon in the bottom-left corner of the ChatGPT screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select \u201cData Management\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn off \u201cConversation History and Training\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this state, past interactions are not retained and cannot be referenced upon revisiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.Utilizing Temporary Chat<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OpenAI offers a \u201ctemporary chat\u201d feature.<br>This is a session that leaves absolutely no history and cannot be restored after closing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To use temporary chat, click the dotted circle in the upper right when opening a new chat.
